About the conference

The 28th International Symposium on Wireless Personal Multimedia Communications (WPMC 2025) invites researchers, scientists, engineers, and practitioners to submit their original research contributions to the Technical Program. The theme of this year’s symposium is “Shaping the 6G Empowered Future: Where Artificial Intelligence, High Performance Computing, and Digital Twins Unlock Prosperity”, which aims to provoke discussions and inspire attendees, while positioning the event as a platform to explore the transformative potential of these cutting-edge technologies to pave a dynamic and inclusive digital future for humanity.

The WPMC symposia series were inaugurated in 1998, as a global platform to enable collaboration in the field of wireless information. Held in Asia, Europe and America, WPMC has established itself as a unique global conference dedicated to wireless multimedia convergence. The 28th WPMC will be held for the first time in the historical and beautiful city of Sofia, Bulgaria, on 9-12 November 2025.

Scope

The symposium will highlight cutting-edge developments in wireless personal multimedia communications, encompassing a wide range of topics, including but not limited to:
